Krbune is a small picturesque village in Istria County, located at 198 meters above sea level with interesting panoramic sights. Villa Brbon was built in the foothills of Krbune, first mentioned in the 14th century and was named after the coal (Karbun) produced by the inhabitants of this area. Today, the place has only about 50 inhabitants, while in 1931 the place had as many as 785 inhabitants.
