WHERE YOU’LL BE STAYING
Vabriga is located on a plateau between the Adriatic on the west and the valley of river Mirna on the east. Its habitants are very dedicated to the traditional activities, so winemaking, fishing and olive oil production dates back all the way to the roman period. Due to their dedication and a high level of profesionalism, the olive oil from the nearby plantation Larun was declared best in Europe by the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization.

Since you will be staying in an area so famous for its olive oil, wine and fishing, a gastro tour is something you can’t go wrong with. The region offers numerous rural estates and fancy restaurants that will fit in to any excursion. If you prefer a day on the sea you can choose between sailing, a trip to the national park Brijuni of a private boat excursion along the coast. The inlands are as interesting and diverse, so you can choose between speleology in any of the caves in the area, or maybe a truffle hunting excursion in the woods of Mirna.
